GISBORNE TIMES OFFICE. The following axe the readings of the barometer in our office, taken at 2 ft.m. each day:— -
GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATTOVJ Present indications are for cloudy and misty weather; squally and showery in most''parts, but heavy rain is probable in the East Coast districts, especially of the North Island, where conditions at present are somewhat threatening. Variable winds are to he expected, . with south-easterly strong to a gale prevailing, the barometer failing at present, but rising shortly in the northern districts.
