DOGS

The entries in the dog classes were not as large as was expected, though some of the dogs shown were of a very high standard. The fox terriers were not as well represented as the sheep dog class. In the Setter class Mr H. G. Witters secured first place with Erna (which the judge remarked "was an excellent dog) and Mr A. Brodie’s Lass secured second place. There were four entries in the Cocker Spaniel section and all the dogs were of a high class. The other sections -were also well represented.
