NOTES. The s.s. Hippie arrives from Napier and Wellington early this morning, and sails for Napier aucl Wellington in the evening. She fakes racehorses and any cargo offering. The lluddart Parker Co’s Wimmera is due to arrive from the South to-mor-row morning. She will be tendered at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. and proceeds to Auckland. calling at Tokomaru Bay later in the day.

The Union S. S. Go's Mokoia arrives from Auckland via Tokomarxh Bay on Sunday afternoon. She will he tendered mi arrival and at 5 p.m. As soon as the wind changes round to the west, the topsail schooner Amelia Sims will sail for AVellington. The produce steamer Wanaka left the Bluff on Wednesday night for Timaru, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland, if sufficient cargo is not forthcoming she will not: call at this port. In consequence of the Labor Day holiday at Wellington on "Monday, the IT. S. S. Monowai will ,not leave for the North until Tuesday morning. She will arrive, at Gisborne on Thursday, and will be tendered at G a.m.
