ROWING.

GISBORNE CLUB

The usual weekly meeting of the Gisborne Rowing Club was held in the boathouse last evening. There were present Messrs. Gully (in the. chair), Hamilton, Hansen, Coleman, O’Brien and Hutton.

Two new “A” grade crews were passed for the races for Mr. C. Adams’ trophies, which arc to bo rowed on the Waimata course, races commencing on Wednesday, 6th November. The now crews are as follows: Hamilton (stroke), Jeffreys (3), Fyson (2), O’Meara (bow) y Daniels (str), Winter (3), Cramp (2J, Gallop (bow). Messrs. L. O’Brien and W. S. Coleman were appointed a visiting committee for the ensuing week.
