NO KISSING ALLOWED.

Visitors to Switzerland have just been warned that kissing and embracing are .strictly prohibited at the station of Salmon, on the Brunig line, canton of Obwald, and that indulgence in oscillatory demonstration will result in arrest and fine. With the consent of the local governing authorities a large poster has been displayed in a prominent place in the station. It bears the following inscription: Notice: Considering the abuses which have resulted, Messieurs the honorable visitors are requested not to embrace (to kiss) on the platform of the station —(Signed) The Society for the Protection of Young Girls Travelling Alone. In future visitors must make _ their kissing adieux outside the station to avoid unpleasantness and perhaps arrest.
