CORRUGATED SHIPS.
STRONGER. AND FASTER. ["INDEPENDENT PRESS CABLE] LONDON, Oct. 17. In an address before the United Service Institution last night Captain Maeilwaine urged shipowners to build ships with corrugated bottoms.
He argued that a vessel so constructed would be of greater stability, and that it would have greater speed and answer the helm more readily than the present type of ship.
