As «• protest against the defeat of Mr Snowden/s amendment suffrasmashed tho windows of ihe Insurance Commissioner s Office. There were numerous arrests. The suffragettes are wrecking windows in Oxford and Bond Streets. There have been two arrests.

At tlie National Union Suffrage Societies* demonstration at tile Albert Hall Lord Haldane’s letter was read wherein be expressed the conviction that nothing could keep back the cause of the suffrage and recent events were irrevalent to the merits of the controversy.
