CHRISTCHURCH SESSION'S
[PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM] CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 13. At the Supreme Court Henry Mather was sentenced to 18 months’ imprisonment for indecent assault. AViliiam Black (alias James) and Gilbert -James Dumvooclie were charged with stealing money, a purse, a railway ticket, and a luggage check, and were acquitted. Leo Arthur Arnold Copeland Boranoff was convicted of having stolen a gold watch, a gold muffehain and a pair of spectacles, and sentence was d’eferred. The charge against Dr. C. J. Russell was adjourned till the next criminal session, as a witness for the Crown is absent from the Dominion.
