THURSDAY HALF HOLDAY.

INTERESTING TIMARU CASE.

[PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM] TIMARU, Nov. 14. Auctioneers have been accustomed to conduct auctions of furniture at vendors’ residences on the afternoon of the Thursday half-holiday. Recently an outside firm brought a quantity of goods hero, hired a hall, and conducted auction sales several afternoons in succession, including the half-holiday.
