LONDON WOOL MARKET. Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co.. Ltd., have received the following information from their London house, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co., under date October 4th : Since our last circular the auctions have passed off with excellent spirit and competition. During the week the market has shown a hardening tendency all round. Merino wools are in strong demand. and on medium scoured lots there is now an advance of 5 per cent, compared with opening rates. Crossbred wools continue to meet a very active market, and any change on opening rates is towards higher values. The number of bale soffered to date is 105.330, of which 6.105 bales (5 per cent.) have been bought in.
