SYDNEY INUNDATED. MAN KILLED BY LIGHTNING. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT] (Received Nov. 24. -5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 24. There was to-day a sudden thunderstorm in tlie city with phenomenal rain for half-an-hour. The streets were flooded and considerable damage is reported. A gang of five tramline repairers were struck by lightning and one — named Parks —was killed. Tho others received slight injuries. During the storm the Donee Company’s Meat Canning store at Botany was' struck by lightning and wrecked. The rain was accompanied by large jagged pieces of ice. which irighteued horses and damaged fruit crops.
