GISBORNE-NAPIER FERRY SERVICE

TO START OX TUESDAY

A SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT.

The ferry service between Napier and Gisborne will commence on Tuesday next, when the Takapuna- will leave Napier on arrival of the Wellington express. The service was not to commence till December 6, but the Alokoia has to go into dock, and will not arrive here till late. Consequently the Takapuna will bring on the Gisborne passengers from Napier, arriving here on Wednesday morning. The Takapuna will leave for Napier the same evening, returning on Friday.
