THE WEATHER.
GISBORNE TIMES OFFICE.
The following are the readings of the barometer in our office, taken at 2 a.m. each day:—
GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT.
Present indications are for moderate to strong and variable winds, with southerly to south-easterly breezes predominating. Cloudy and misty weather with showers, will probably make a brief improvement shortly. The barometer is unsteady, with a rising tendency at present, but a low pressure area is due to pass in the south about Sunday night.
