FEILDING, Dec
There was a series of burglaries here last night. About £5 was taken from a till at the railway station, unsuccessful attempts were made with an axe to break into Carthewbs stationer’s shop and Wells’ grocery. A burglar entered DarrngVs .grocery and took about £2, and' left- an axe. Suspects are being watched by the police.
