PRICES UNCHANGED

At the wool sales there was a good demand for all classes. Merinos are unchanged and crossbreds are firm. (Reecived Dec. 3, 9.25 p.m.) ‘
The following were the prices realised for the fleece portion of the clips named : Castle : top price 14s; average, 12]d.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and reduced, have received toe following cable from their London Office under date December 2: “As compared with last sales closing rates prices are about 5 per cent, higher for crossbred lambs; greasy merino, super, and scoured crossbred; scoured merino, super, fine crossbred slipe and fine greasy crossbred. About sto 7) per cent, higher for lambs, medium greasy crossbred and medium crossbred slipe. About 74 per cent to 10 per cent, higher for merino medium and inferior, coarse greasy crossbred and coarse crossbred slipe. Bujmrs are operating with spirit.”
