•“SUICIDE WHILE IN A STATE OF DEPRESSION.”
£BY TELEGRAPH— SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT] TOKOMARU BAY, Dec. 12, An inquest was held at Tokomam Bay to-day into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr George Walworth, who was found dead on Wednesday morning suspended to a tree. 'Mr H. C. Dawson, J.P., conducted the inquiry and Constable Thomassen represented the police. The principal witness was Mr G. S. Powell, who found the body hanging to a tree near the woolshed. The following verdict was brought in: “That deceased strangled himself while in a state of depression.” The sad fatality has cast a gloom over the district, and widespread sympathy goes out to deceased’s widow and six young children.
