NOTES. The New Zealand -Shipping Co’s Rimutaka left for the South last evening. The Union S. S. Co’s Takapuna arrives from Napier this morning and will return south at a p.iu. The s.s. Itipple arrived in Napier yesterday morning, but owing to the large quantity of cargo to be handled she will not be able to sail until this evening, and will arrive hero on Saturday morning. The Tyser Co’s Muritai arrives at Gisborne on December 26. The Union S. S. Co’s Kittawa is due to arrive from Greymouth this week. The Union S. S. Co’s Tarawera arrives from the South to-morrow morning. The Union S. S. Co’s Monowai is the boat from the North on Sunday.
