Mrs Jolm Murphy was favored with a beautiful sunny day for her “at home” on Thursday, given in honor of Miss Mamie Williamson’s forthcom- £ 'ing marriage. The beautiful grounds h at Repongaere wore looking their best, and every one appreciated the delightful tea, cakes and strawberr ries which were served on the lawn. Miss Mamie Williamson, the guest of the afternoon, wore a very smart : champagne-co’ored toilette, with trim--1 mings of a deeper shade, and a becom- : ing biscuit-colored hat- with a choco- ’ late brown feather mount. Mrs Bennett wore a heliotrope voile robe witli purple velvet trimmings, » and a. pretty toque. Mrs Parker, a grey and black coat and skirt, and a white toque relieved ■ with black velvet. Mrs J.
