SEAEORD BOGUS MARRIAGE CASE.
i UNITED P3ESS ASSOCIATION—COPTEIGHI] LOXDOX, Dec. I*2, (.'railam and Crawley, two men arrested in August- last and subsequently convicted upon a charge of preparing, a bogus marriage, have been sentenced to 10 months' imprisonment. The ‘•"marriage” took place in an underground room at Seaford, Hie parties being Evangeline Healey and F. Hanuering. Crawley, passing as a clergyman, read the service, _ and Graham, as a solicitor, secured signatures to two promissory notes of £2O a-piece, pretending they were certificates. After the ceremony Graham and Crawley attempted to blackmail the couple, and suspicion being aroused, tliev were arrested.
