GOVERNMENT METEOROLO-
GIST’S REPORT.
Present indications arc for strong and squally northerly and westerly winds and decreasing atmospheric pressure, but the barometer is due to rise after about 24 hours, when the winds are likely to veer to the south for a short time. Unsettled and cloudy weather with rain is probable on the West Coast and in the south and increasing cloudiness preceding rain in many parts elsewhere.
