MEETING LAST EVENING.
The monthly meeting of the above School Committee was held last evening. Some accounts were passed for payment and other matters of ordinary routine were dealt with. The Secretary was instructed to write to the Board asking that in future plans and specifications of proposed work should be laid before the School Committee concerned.
The Headmaster's report stated that the attendance for the past month had averaged 94 per cent, of the roll number. The withdrawal from the staff of Mr Kibblewhito. Miss Moore and J. Forsyth was noted.
It was reported that the school closed on Thursday for the midsummer hohdav?.
