Its paid up capital, reserve fund, and profit carried forward amount to £5,234,838, and the steadily inreeasing growth of business has led to the Bank increasing its capital from three millions to £3,500,000 by a further issue of shares, fully subscribed since the halfyearly meeting on 26th ult. Space does not permit us to deal at greater length with the affairs of this great institution—the bigges of its sort in the Southern Hemisphere—but a perusal of its figures will well repay those of our readers who are interested in such matters.
