Enver Bey has issued to the officers at Tchataldja ,a stirring appeal to abandon party factions. All officers on leave have been recalled to Tchataldja, within 24 hours. STAMPING OUT DISEASE. GREEKS AT SALONIKA. (Received Dee. 26, 11.45 p.m.) SALONIKA, Dec. 26. The Greeks have established a remarkable sanitary system, including a micro-biological laboratory. All refugees are vaccinated and there is the strictest surveillance of butchers’ premises, dairies and restaurants. Smallpox lias already been suppressed. The Greek funds are not sufficient to feed the 30,000 refugees.
SENSATIONAL INCIDENT.
GERMAN MINISTER’S WIFE ARRESTED AS A SPY. (Received Deo. 26, 1.45 p.m.) BELGRADE, Dec. 26. While shopping at Semlin (Hungary) - Baroness Greidinger (wife of the German Alinister at Belgrade) was arrested on suspicion as being a Servian spy. After a protracted examination she was released.
