At the inquiry into the death of Miss Zillman, who died after eating chocolates received by post, Mrs Walker (deceased’s companion) detailed how she came to reside with Burgess. Witness came to Warwick to look after the property of her dead sister, who was ■ Burgess’s wife. Witness later returned home to Mungindi. She denied that any arrangement was made for her future if Burgess married again, but admitted that Burgess had promised certain assistance from her dead sister’s property. She knew nothing pointing to the person who sent the chocolates.

BURGESS TO BE CHARGED WITH MURDER.
