It is understood that steps are being taken to form a syndicate with the object of working her as a tug in and about Auckland. The Doto is an iron vessel of 29 tons register, and is 58ft in length, and fitted with a 16 h.p. engine. She was built at Gisborne in 1891, and for a number of years was worked as a tug and trawler out of Napier and Wellington. For some months past she has been employed as a tug in Auckland Harbor.
