GISBORNE CLUB. On Saturday a pleasant clay was put in on the Gisborne green, and the following games were, decided:— Murray, Ha ris, Witty, Greig (s.) 35 beat O’Meara Tuck, Pettie, Ponsford (s.) 2S._ Hamilton, Gat'land, Robertson, Bright (s.) £3 beat W. O’Meara, G. Crawford, Johnstone, Bennett (s.) 18. Nelson, Horne, Zaehariah, Paltridge (s.) 25 beat Williamson, Crompton, Malier, R. Paltridge (s.) 15.
TURANGANUICLUB
The committee of the Turangamil Bowling Club met on Saturday evening, and decided to extend entries for the tournament till 7 p.m. on Tuesday, and to elect, ballot, and draw and handicap the names on 'Tuesday night at 8 o’clock.
THE NAPIER TOURNAMENT
Twenty-five rinks have entered for the Napier Bowling Club’s New Year tournament, on January 1 and 2. Messrs. Brown, Maher, Bullock, and Allan -will represent the Gisborne Club, and Mr. Colley will probably take a Turanganui four. The rinks have been divided into two sections, playing at Napier and Greenmea-dows alternately.
GISBORNE CLUB’S XMAS TOURNAMENT.
The 'following is,a list of the points obtained by the, individual rinks during the Gisborne Xmas Tournament: —Robertson 104 points, Simpson 69, Crawford 120, Ponsford 63, Witty 36, Smith 111, Maher 117, Craig 130, Eure 91, Williams 72, Martin 129, Spiers 135Althougli Spiers’ rink was defeated in the final, it- obtained the highest aggregate number of points in the tournament.
