Reshid Pasha and M. Daneff a week ago were informed that negotiations approached- an agreement regarding Adrianople, but Ronmania’s intervention caused tlie Turks to stiffen their attitude. ,
It is understood that Bulgaria is willing to dismantle her fortifications and allow Turkey extra territorial possession of the tombs and mosques, but she requires the railway connecting southern Macedonia with the Aegean ports. Renter’s Paris correspondent says tlie Triple Entente is inclined/ to support the cession of the Aegean islands to Greece. The Tnplieo is-desirous that Turkey should retain the islands near tlie coast, and particularly the Dardanelles Straits, and also 1 Chios ancl Mytelene. Austria lias designs incorporating Scutari in Albania. Vienna reports that it is stated that Te’rey suggests a. neutral zone between Turkey and Bulgaria, to include Adrianople.
