B.C. hereby makes by way of ■*" Special Order the following Bylaw under the powers and provisions contained in “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” and the amendments thereof, “The Public. Works Act, 1908,’’ and amendments thereto, and the “Motor Registration Act, 1908,*'’ and amendments thereof, and in pursuance of all the powers and provisions in that behalf contained or implied in any statute or ordinance, enabling the said Council in that behalf, which By-law shall come into force upon the Ist day of February, 1913, the object and purport of which Bylaw are as follows: Regulating heavy traffic upon the roads within the Borough of Gisborne and Prescribing Rules and Regulations for Motor Cars and Motor Cycles using roads within the Borough, and fixing charges for Taxi Cars. • The above By-law was made by Special Order passed at a Special Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council held at the Council Chamber, Read’s Quay and Childers Road, Gisborne, on the lObli day of December, 1912, and confirmed at a Special Meeting held on the 7th day of January, 1913.
