ICE FACE CREAM.
FEALTY AIDS FROM FREEZING
CHAMBER
!'•(' —not mere ice mater, hut ice in the lump—is the latest aid to beauty, according to Miss Alice Lloyd, an actress of Toronto (Canada), whose complexion is the envy of everyone who has seen her.
‘‘Make-up of n.’iv sort should he used only behind the footlights; ice is much better and healthier,’’ Miss Llovd declares. ,
“One reason whv so many of us have no color in our faces is because our circulation is had. Every morning after I have taken mv morning exercise to wake me im, I take a piece of ice and wash my face with it. I go over every inch of my face and neck with it until the ice is entirely gone. As I begin with a piece half the size of my fist, you can see I get a nice chilling. When the ice is melted, I rub my face briskly with a Turkish towel until it is quite dry. “It makes you feel very lively. For a. minute or two you are'red like a frost-hiiten apple; then that fades away into the nicest color. You see, the ice not only helps the circulation with the exercise, hut it acts like a tonic on the muscles.’’
