In a private letter Wilding states that he 'hopes to arrange his business to enable him not only to defend the title of champion of England, bnt to ■represent Australia in the Davis Cup. Brooks has intimated that he will be unable to go to England in 1913, but will be available in 1914 if Britain retains the cup.
