NATURALISATION ANOMALIES

[INDEPENDENT PRESS CABLE] LONDON, Feb. 1

Mr C. J. Doherty, Canadian Minister for Justice, states that the existing naturalisation laws are unsatisfactory. He holds that it is desirable that there should be an arrangement whereby a Britisher anywhere shall become legally British throughout the Empire, and ho thinks that the best solution of the question would be for the Parliaments of the overseas dominions to pass parallel legislation.
