The Poverty Bay Association met last evening. Present: Messrs Harvey'(in the chair), Cahill, Guthrie, Cranney, Maude (hon. treas.), and McLisky (hon. sec.). Matches for the ensuing week were arranged as follows: Thursday Senior.—Kia Kaha v. United. Alhambra a bye. Saturday Schools Competition.—Mangapapa v. Kaiti (No. 2 asphalt); Gisborne v. Te.Hapara (No. 1 asphalt). Saturday Junior. —Matawhero v. Civil Service. Wanderers a bye.
Saturday Seniors—Alhambra v. Wanderers continue; Kia Kaha v. Taruher.u continue; United a bye.

The weather was fine and the wicket was easy. Trumper played a vigorous, masterly, and chanceless innings, covering three hours, during which he hit 16 fours. He received an ovation. Ryder was in great form, and took five wickets in seven overs for 15 runs. N. S. Wales in their first innings scored 389 (Trumper not out 126, Noble 40). The Rest of Australia in their second innings have lost 6 wickets for 163 runs (Mayne 26, Hill 34, Moyes 25, Armstrong not out 33, Ryder not out 23).
