TRUCK WITH 16 MEN BREAKS AWAY ON INCLINE.

[UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT] (Received Feb. 25, ]0.45 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Feb. 2-5. An accident is reported from Yarra Junction.

An engine and 10 trucks belonging to the Powell Wood Process Company was mounting an incline, when two trucks—one containing 16 of the company’s employees—broke away. Six jumped out before the truck gathered momentum.

After travelling at a- mad pace for a distance the truck overturned, and Michael Curtain, one of the occupants, was killed. Francis Flynn was seriously injured, and the other eight were slightly injured.
