IN THE OPPOSITION CAMP.
MESSRS. BRADNEY AND MANDER AT REFORM CLUB.
[PREBS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAM.] AUCKLAND, Feb. 28. A vigorous speech upon the _ character of the Reform party and' its aims and aspirations was given by Hon. Mr. Fisher at the Reform Club tonight. Messrs. J H. Bradney and Mander, Ms.P., were present. There arrived in company with the Minister Messrs. Coates and Glover, Ms.P., and Mr. Fisher prefaced his remarks with reference to their presence, as they were known as Independent and Opposition members. He said his opinion was that it was well to meet opponents and discuss matters with them openly and fairly. He sincerely hoped the two members whom he had invited into the club would be convinced that the party in power was worthy of their support, but if they were of a contrary opinion they had the full right to exercise their judgment.
