The average price for the week for choicest New Zealand is 117 s, salted 119 s; unsalted, Australian Ills, Argentine 110 s, Danish 1335, Siberian 110 s. The cheese market is firm. The average price ftor the week for finest New Zealand cheese is GOs Gd. The hemp market is very quiet, with nothing doing. The market is dependent on Manila reports. New Zealand good to fair grade. £33, fair grade £3l, fair current Manila £33 10s; forward shipment at the same prices. The output from Manila for the week was 28,000 bales. The wool market is firm at an advance. The wheat market is very quiet. New Zealand longberried wheat, ex granary, per quarter of 4961b5, 38s Gd; shortberried, 37s Gd. The oats market is weak owing to the poor demand._ New Zealand oats, short sparrowhills ex granary, per quarter of 3S4lhs, 34s Gd. The cocksfoot seed market is quiet. Buyers are not keen to do business, although only small stocks of cocksfoot seed are held in store. The average price for bright clean New Zealand cocksfoot seed, weighing 171hs per bushel, on spot, is 62s (nominal).
