GISBORNE TIMES OFFICE. The following are the readings of th© barometer in our office, taken at 6 a.m. each day:—

GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT.

Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds with changeable weather, especially in the northern and southernmost districts for a low pressure due to pass .in the south about Friday and developments are also probable in the north about the same time, but a definite forecast cannot vet be issued.
