TROPHIES WORTH WINNING. There is at present on view in the show window of Messrs M. G. Nasmith and Son, jewellers, four handsome pairs of silver-mounted bowls, which have just been sent out by Jas. Watson and oC., Ltd., distillers of the famous blend of “No. 10” whisky, to their local agent, Mr D. J. aßrry, for presentation to the Gisborne and Turanganui Bowling Clubs. The firm lias donated two pairs of the bowls each to each Club, and has left the allocution of the trophies in tire hands of the Clubs. _ The bowls are of most handsome design, and it is certain that whatever comptitions the} 7 are avoided for will be very keenly fought out. ELECTRIC LIGHT PLAY. Electric light play was continued on the Turanganui Club’s green last night and an enjoyable time was spent among the enthusiastic bowlers.
