ihe Monowai, which put. out to sea on Sunday night, came into the Bay again yesterday morning, but the tender being unable to go out. signals were hoisted for the steamer to proceed on her voyage. A Napier wire advises that she arrived at 6 o’clock last evening. The Opouri is due from the South today. The Canterbury Co’s Petone arrived
from ;Pioton late on Sunday night and took shelter under Young Niek’s-Head. -it was deemc impossible to get the, Takapuna away for Napier last evening and the vessel’s sailing was put off until 6 o’clock this morning., The following have booked by the Takapuna: Misses Evans (2), Mrs Morrison, Captain Hennah, Messrs J.'
