SURVEYORS’ EXAMINATIONS.

RESULT OF RECENT EXAMINATIONS.

[press association telegram.] WELLINGTON, April 11. Surveyors examinations were held last week at the Dominion Museum in conjunction with the Australasian Federated Surveyors Board. The papers on this occasion were set by the Queensland Board. The full local Board sat to-day and declared the results of the examinations. There were seventeen candidates, of whom eight were sitting for tlie first time. Of these eight two passed, F. W. Watson and G. Pirrit, both of the Lands and Survey Department, Auckland. Three of the nine candidates who were re-ex-aminod passed: G. F. Gould (Dunedin), I l ’. 'Waters (Land and Survey Department, Nelson), and J. E. Anderson (Public Works Department, Te Puke).
