They advanced on the village of Yales, eight miles westward of Bijuachokmedj with the object of attacking tho Bulgarians in the rear. The latter artilleried heavily and then a battalion oil infantry annihilated many of the Turks and expelled the remainder completely to the coast.

Greece has remonstrated against the Turkish warship Harnidieh’s repeated pasages through tho Suez Canal, which it is alleged is for tho purpose of obtaining provisions at Alexandria and chartering colliers, declaring it a dangerous precedent. The Hamidieh is now in tho Red Sea.
