TROUBLE OVER FREE LABOR
[press association telegram.] GORE, April 14. The freezing chamber hands, slaughtermen’s assistants, and rabbit packers struck at Mataura Freezing Works on Saturday The trouble is over free labor butchers put on t-o unload coal. Tho unionists consider that preference should be given to them before casual labor. Later.— Tho strike at the freezing works has been settled and the men have returned to work.
