The Bloemfontein National Vigilance Committee, representing General Hertzog’s supporters, resolved that they have no confidence in General Botha, tho Premier. They disapproved of any increase of the naval contribution on the ground there was not sufficient prosperity. It was resolved that where file interests of South- Africa and the Empire do not coincide South Africa should have precedence, the resolution ins-tancing natives and Asiatics.
