The plot to blow up the grandstand in the Crystal Palace on April 19, the day on which tho football cup final is to be played, has been disclosed by the “Daily Express.’ The “Express” shows that all the plans were arranged with military precision. Within the Women’s Social and Political Union is a militant corps, each member of which is designated by a number, and has her duties allotted to her. In the present instance members of the corps wore to rent two houses near the Palace; other members were to study the district and the movements of the police, whilst others were to lit the fireworks ready and arrange for the scaling of fences. Three women were to set the bombs, and another member was under orders to ring a false alarm of fire. The women, however, were apparently forced to abandon their desperate "enterprise, for across the typewritten documents in which the plans are set forth in detail is written, “Wolly reports that it-is no use—everything* too well guarded.”
