SYDNEY, April 30. Dr Mawson has been several days trying to send wireless messages to Australia. Owing to some unknown cause the messages are undecipherable.
Professor T>avid presumes that a blizzard has caused an accident- to tlio wireless mast. He believes the party are safe for the rest of the winter, bub the refitting of the Aurora is being pushed on as speedily as possible. She will leave as early as it is thought practicable to get through the ice.
