(To the Editor.) Sir, —It is with regret I feel called ii pon to make the following rein a i ks. At the recent meeting held in conneation with the Gisborne school theie Avas to my thinking an absence in many instances of that courtesy and fair play so desirable on such occasions. One never minds an occasiona scrap, and often a jolly row deal s-the atmosphere considerably; but the incision of invidious remarks and slignting references might he amusing, hut coming from the sources from which they did, ware uncalled foi ant quite infra dig. Trusting there "i not be a repetition of unpopular tactics.—l am, etc., 1 ‘HOUSEHOLDER. ’
