LONDON MEAT MARKET. ' Messrs Gilbert Anderson and Co. report under date London, March 20: Bettor weather, light 'deliveries of home grown and advice of only small shipments of frozen meat from all quarters have helped to check the fall in prices. There is an indication that prices have touched bottom. Now that the season has started with Easter good trade may be expected. Home Grown.—Supplies continue light and the high prices are diverting trade to frozen meat. Beef: Scotch, Gfd to 7d; English, 6:',d to 6f|d ; Irish, Gd to Gjjdl Mutton: Scotch, 7ld to 8cl; English, Old to 7;{d; tegs, Scotch, Bfd to 9d ; English, 7|d to B),d. Lamb: English, lid to Is Id. No others on the market. Pork, 7 ; ,d to Bd. Chilled Beef.— A fair demand and slightly smaller supplies. Fores 3.1 d, hinds 5 3-16 d. Frozen Beeli.—N.Z. fores 3 3-1 Od, bonds 3;Jd ; Australian 3jd and 3Jd. Plate 3 1-16' and 3|d. , Frozen Mutton.— Good inquiries and indications of a rise. Canterbury 48-5 G 4?d, 56-64 4‘d, 64-72 4d.
