The Mokoia, which was' a day late In her northward running last week, in con sequence did not leave Auckland until 6.30 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived in the Bay shortly after 9 o’clock last night. It was was found impossible t.o transfer jiassengers, and the Mokoia was ordered south at 10 p.m. The ferry steamer Takapuna arrived just before 7 o’clock yesterday morning and will leave on the return trip for Napier at 8 o’clock this evening. The Union Co’s Monowai arrives from South on Wednesday, and the Huddart Parker steamer Victoria from the North. The Zoalandio left Timaru for_ Napier on Saturday, and is due there this morning. She will probably leave Napier today for Gisborne. The Ruru, which arrived from Napier yesterday, has on board 50 tons of rails for the Public Works Department. 500 house blocks, a quartity of general cargo, and transhipments to the Squall for the Coast. Captain Nelson reports that the steamer met with fairly rough seas on the voyage, which was considerably protracted on that account. The Squall is due from Auckland via Coast to-day, and is timed to sail on the return trip to-night. The Rosamond left Auckland at 1 o’clock on Saturday for Gisborne via Tologa Bay, and is duo here, to-day. She will return to Auckland on completion of discharge. The Navua lcav'-? Lyttelton this afternoon for Gisborne direct, and on arrival here will load a cargo of 5000 sheep for Lyttelton. The Kowliai leaves Dunedin on Monday for Northern ports.
