Tie following are the readings of the barometer in our office, taken at 6 a.m. each day:—
GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT. Present indications are for strong northerly and esterly winds, changing to southerly. Cloudy, i older ancl unsettled weather, with rain, is probable generally. The barometer will probably fall further in the North, hut will rise temporarily in the South.
