This arrangement leaves one sinking- pump and one stationary pump available for the reserve. In regard to the Diesel plant recently installed, Mr. Davis said he had had the satisfaction of seeing this running, and although a. few minor alterations were necessary, it is now practically available, should it be found necessary to utilise the auxiliary power in tho event of any accident to the transmission line.
