GISBORNE TIMES OFFICE. The following are the readings of the barometer in onr office, taken at 6 a.m. each, day:—•

GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT,

Present indications are for unsettled and cloudy weather and rain is probable generally; strong and squally westerly winds, especially in Cook and Foreaux Straits. The barometer is unsteady, rising temporarily in the south, but falling everywhere again short lv.
